Bio:

Captain Joseph Barnabus has been sailing the seven seas for as long as many can remember and he likes it that way, in reality Barnabus has been sailing since he was a child, his dad having been a merchant sailor. When he had the chance he took to the sea and began searching for his place on it, unfortunately a career in the Queen’s navy didn’t seem to quite fit him and it wasn’t long before he found his way into pirating.

Barnabus served under many captains before landing in the command of Henry Morgan in 1662 and sailed under his colours when he took Vildemos, Trujkilo and Honduras. Barnabus made a name for himself during those battles, proving his ruthlessness and cunning, arguments over his practices soon caused him to break away from Morgan’s command and take command of his own ship and crew. Although they left on heated terms both Morgan and Barnabus still hold the other in high respect.

In 1664 Barnbus appeared with his ship the Raven, now with only his left hand. No one knows how he lost his hand or where he obtained the Raven although dark rumours abound. Morgan continued his quest to terrorize the seas, attacking Spanish, Dutch, French and English ships alike, until he became one of the most the wanted pirates in the Spanish Main, the rewards for his head soon counted as high as 50,000$.
